Hello!

My name is Selema. I'm currently an undergraduate student at School of Visual Arts in NYC, working towards my BFA in illustration.

 

Selema De Bellis is an illustrator who's personal work explores the suffering derived from humans' rejection of themselves as part of nature, and the anomalies and absurdities that result from this confrontation. She is inspired by nature, theater, philosophy, and feminism, her favorites being Ibsen, Beckett, and De Beauvoir. She aspires to illustrate for editorial, merchandising, and advertising.​
